Keypad deadbolt

App and Wi-Fi locks
Lets you lock, unlock and issue access remotely through a phone app, sometimes with a bridge plugged in near the door. Useful for rentals and for checking whether the door is locked once you are at work.

Fitting and set-up
A digital lock is only as good as its installation. Doors in older Concord homes are often thicker or thinner than the lock expects, and the old mortice holes are rarely in the right place. We check thickness and backset before ordering, and fit the lock so it closes cleanly without the motor straining.
Once fitted, we set up the master code and user codes with you at the door, show you how to change batteries, and test the mechanical override so you know it works before you ever need it.

What happens if the batteries go flat?
Most digital locks warn you when batteries are low. The models we fit have a mechanical key override, and many can be powered briefly from outside to enter the code.
Can I install a smart lock on my existing door?
Usually, yes. We check the door thickness and existing lock holes and choose a model that fits.
Are smart locks secure?
A well-made smart lock with good installation is as secure as a quality conventional deadlock. Choose reputable brands, keep firmware updated and use unique codes.
Can I give a cleaner or carer a temporary code?
Many models allow time-limited or user-specific codes you can delete later. We set this up with you.
Can you fit a smart lock in a strata unit?
Often, but check your by-laws first, particularly for fire-rated entry doors. We can help you find a compliant option.
